The McLean County Peacemakers’ club hosts monthly cowboy action shooting competitions that bring back the spirit of the Wild West in the late 1800s. These events, which are regulated by the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS), are open to individuals of any gender, shooting ability, or age (parental supervision is required for all competitors under 21 years of age) who can handle firearms safely. Every match offers participants the excitement of shooting challenges, a chance to improve their skills, and the opportunity to form friendships with like-minded people.
