Only a few drops fell despite the rainy forecast during the Peacemakers’ cowboy match on Saturday, May 16. Twenty four gunslingers competed, finishing the match around 11:30 am. Thanks to all who helped clear and store the targets and props.
Top five finishers: Mackinaw Jack, Dangerous Dan McGrew, Wild Pike, Comstock Charley and Fire Marshall Bill. Three clean shooters are: Marshall RD, Wapidi Waldi, and Black River Bart. Scoresheets are linked below.
The first Wild Bunch match of the year is May 30 with the new cowboy clinic the next day. Please note that the next two monthly cowboy shoots are on the SECOND Saturday of June and July to avoid conflict with the June “Reckoning on the Rock” near Beloit and the July Illinois State Championship at Milan.
